Despite rumors that Wendy Williams’ new podcast was canceled before the start, that’s not true! And there is more to come.

The former talk show host is ready to get back out there after dealing with health issues. She’s relaunching her career and yes, the podcast is still one of the many things on the list of things to come.

“We are still working behind the scenes on several projects. There was no official cancellation of the podcast,” said Shaw Zanotti, Williams’ publicist page six. Last week we reported that Williams’ long-awaited podcast was shut down and the promotional website was no longer in existence.

“There is no podcast,” close sources told The Sun. “It’s weird because she says there’s no podcast but also tells people she’s going back to TV. It’s hard to figure out what’s based on reality.”

The podcast was to be recorded in her New York penthouse. The $4.5 million residence gives Williams enough space to host guests and build a small team to help with the day-to-day needs of her podcast.

Williams was recently spotted drinking and enjoying himself at Fresco by Scotto. She then went to New York City gay bar The Townhouse later that night to continue their good time.

The shock jock has reportedly opened up about all the projects she has on the horizon and her excitement at pursuing them. “She had a huge crew that was basically spinning [the restaurant] on a movie set…about 30 people on the crew,” a source claimed.

Williams is also said to have a reality TV show in the works, which may be why the entire crew was there to make it a movie set. “Lights, cameras, audio, producers, etc. [It] looked like a reality show,” the shocked source said.

The scene that was filmed was Williams having dinner with an old friend. People around called the host over for a drink.

Is Wendy Williams a drinking problem?

Williams had hoped to enjoy her drink in private, but since she went to rehab in a fairly public way, her drinking, especially in public, will draw some stares from those around her. Just last month, Williams completed two months in rehab.

“Wendy is excited about the future and excited to publicize her many projects,” a publicist for Williams said back in October 2022 as she left the facility. At the time, she was allegedly struggling with alcohol abuse.

“It’s gotten worse,” a source shared in October. “She transitioned from wine to straight vodka.” Now that Williams is back on track, she’s also expressed interest in owning a restaurant, even reaching out to Fresco by Scotto owner Rosanna Scotto for advice.

The Hello New York The co-host said of Williams’ favorite dishes, “She loves the meatballs at Fresco.” Scotto joked page six:

“I don’t know if she wants me to be a waitress or what,” Scotto joked, “but she told me she wants to open her restaurant and she wants me to help her…if she does.” [a restaurant] It’s going to be a lot of competition from Wendy, but I love her.”
