Week 13 Most Disappointing For Bucs At Falcons

The Bucs played big on both sides of the ballo beat the Falcons 30-17 on Sunday. Tom Brady threw four touchdowns, Rob Gronkowski caught two of them, and Chris Godwin broke the franchise record with 15 in-game receptions. Meanwhile, it was a great day for the pass, as Ndamukong Suh and Vita Vea each had two sacks. The defense only got 10 points in the whole match.

This is the most disappointing person from this afternoon.

Bucs Run Defense

In a very surprising result, the Falcons were able to run over the Bucs’ excellent containment barrier. It started with the game’s first drive, when the Bucs allowed 63 meters in the Falcons’ first hit. Possession included a 39-meter dash from Cordarrelle Patterson and a 17-meter touchdown from Mike Davis. It’s not often you see a team pushing the screenplay high in front of Tampa Bay, but they gave up a stunning 121 feet above the ground. As for their credit, they dropped in the second half, but it was still very unusual for them.

Defensive Third Bucs

The Bucs found themselves in a situation similar to the one against Washington, where they could not leave the field in third and allow long shots. On three separate drives, the Falcons had 15 plays, 11 runs, and 11 plays, which somehow only resulted in a total of three points. Tampa Bay came in third in third place, allowing Atlanta to convert 9-17 attempts. This includes allowing the third and 14th transitions to be separate. That cannot happen.

K Ryan Succop

Succop didn’t have much to do in this game other than kick in extra points and hit a long shot on goal from 31 yards. He missed the game’s second extra, hitting it off the left post. When you only have so many chances in the game, you have to hit them. Succop won 3-4 more points and successfully completed the task of scoring the only goal on his field.

Bucs decide in the last half of the first half

I don’t know if this play has Tom Brady, Byron Leftwich, Bruce Arians or anyone else involved in the offense. But Tom Brady’s pick of six at the end of the second quarter with 22 seconds left was shocking. Bucs had more than 90 yards to go and failed to hit big on-screen returns on the first turn. There are 20 seconds left on a moving clock. At that point, your best bet is to run the ball and move on to the 10th half.

The Bucs decided to push it though, and Brady’s attempted pass to Leonard Fournette was blocked by defensive midfielder Marlon Davidson for a pick-six. The idea to make a game go by with such little time was a bad decision and it cost the Bucs very dearly. Whether it’s Brady or the coaching staff, you can’t make a list of the most disappointing and leave out this playstyle.
