WEBTOON wants to find the next best action comic with a grand prize of $50,000+ in the call to action contest – GeekTyrant

WEBTOON wants to give comic creators the opportunity to show their coolest action moments with the call to action contest. Announced last week, this competition wants you to show off those fight scenes in your head and have some seriously big prizes up its sleeve. The top 10 entries will receive a license for Clip Studio Paint EX and between $5,000 and $50,000 depending on placement, the top 3 will receive offers to become WEBTOON Originals and the grand prize winner will receive an animated short film. In addition, 10 honorable mention winners will each receive a license for CLIP STUDIO PAINT.

Submissions are open from June 1st to July 31st with the following criteria. Your submission must be in English and in colour. You get an episode with at least 60 panels to tell your story. This episode must contain “a bloody brawl between at least 2 characters”. There are some additional things to consider, such as file specifications, which can be found in the official rules and FAQ. From August 1st to August 31st, the comics will be judged based on audience engagement and the score awarded by the judges. The winners will be announced on September 30th.
