Roger Federer, the Swiss tennis legend, has proven many times that he has a heart of gold. Over the years, his foundation, the Roger Federer Foundation, has provided early education for many children in Africa and Switzerland. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has hit the Swiss player hard. Federer highlighted current events and whether or not he discussed them in a recent interview with his four children Caminada Magazine.

Roger has two conjoined twins, two girls (myla and charlene) and two males (Leo and Lenny). Roger mentioned in this interview that he and his wife Mirka talked about it with their children. Federer also hopes that when his children grow up they will do good in the world.

“Of course. But how much is too much? I can still well remember watching television pictures from Kuwait as a boy. I can still see the green rockets in the sky before me. At that time we were further from the war here in Switzerland removed. Mirka and I are very concerned about the state of the world. We are passed out,” Federer said when asked if he would discuss sensitive issues with his children, such as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“It’s difficult to model carefree joy when you’re feeling down yourself. Mirka lost her homeland as a child when she came here from Slovakia with her family. The misery of the refugees hurts her a lot. Our foundation wants to help traumatized children. I hope that when the four of us grow up, we will want to get involved with the foundation or do good in the world.” he added and talked about Mirka’s past.
