“We all make mistakes,” predicts Sebastian Vettel that Max Verstappen will reduce mistakes with experience » FirstSportz

Max Verstappen has a firm grip on the drivers’ championship, but that doesn’t mean the reigning world champion has had a flawless season. The Dutchman struggled in qualifying which made his work ahead of race day difficult. It seems like he still has a level to reach so he can dominate for the full length of a season, as we saw in the case of Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull.
We can’t say that Max Verstappen hasn’t matured since last season and Monaco was a clear example of that. It’s well documented that Max is as aggressive in F1 as it comes. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel even agreed that both treat the Dutchman differently on track to avoid any contact. But it seems to be the 2.0 version of Max that definitely channels his aggression.
The Dutchman definitely didn’t have the speed to compete with Charles Leclerc in Monaco due to the F1-75’s superior qualities in the slower corners. Max was aware of the fact and bided his time to register an unlikely podium. He did not go on a late lunge like in 2021 against Lewis Hamilton, which could have been fatal to him in the long term. There have definitely been improvements, but there is still a long way to go.

Sebastian Vettel supports Max Verstappen to get better with his experience in Formula 1
Sebastian Vettel believes if Max can reduce the mistakes and sort out Ferrari Charles Leclercs questions, it could be very interesting.
Speaking about Max Verstappen, the four-time world champion said: “Max made some mistakes, but I think we all make mistakes that aren’t necessarily related to you being so young. These guys have been around for a while, no it’s not all new to them.”
He also shared his opinion on Charles Leclerc, saying: “I think there are a lot of drivers in Formula 1 who obviously have a lot of talent and Charles is one of them.”
“He’s in a good car and he deserves it. Hopefully the car is good enough to fight for the title this year.” as reported by gpblog.
Max Verstappen definitely has the talent to rewrite the history books, but talent has never been enough in Formula 1. He needs to work on other aspects in order to become a full driver and realize his immense potential.
