Sources revealed to FanSided that WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed in writing that “free negotiations” between WBC-rated super lightweight number one Zepeda and WBC number three super lightweight Regis Prograis could begin negotiations to become the next WBC super lightweight champion determine.

JoshTaylor but was the undisputed super lightweight champion waived his WBC Title after being ordered to fight number one contender Zepeda. The WBC ordered Zepeda vs. Jose Ramirez, but it seems plans have shifted to Zepeda vs. Prograis.
It’s a startling turn of events but Zepeda and Prograis have until Tuesday 30th August to reach an agreement before the fight moves to a price bid.
