Wild scenes erupted at a Big W store when a verbal stoush between two women turned physical, with one grabbing items from a nearby shelf and hurling them at the other.

The riot was caught on video by a customer and posted on TikTok.

It’s unclear what sparked the excitement between the two women – who appeared to know each other – at the store in Canberra on Wednesday afternoon.

“That’s my husband!” one woman can be heard yelling at the other.

“Here, let’s go, shit,” another woman can be heard yelling.

Two men who accompany the women are largely silent in the video of the incident.

The video posted by user @whatsticktok97 shows a brunette woman knocking over a pile of wrapped products stacked between her and her rival, causing them to fall to the ground.

“You run, you run, you run, shit,” the blond woman calls out.

She can be seen picking up produce from a nearby shelf and throwing it at the other woman while Big W employees attempt to intervene.

“I’m going to kill you,” the brunette screams before storming back onto the sports island.

Products fly through the air as Big W staff continue their attempts to defuse the situation.

“Yesterday afternoon at one of our Canberra stores there was a disagreement between customers which was quickly defused,” a Big W spokesman told 7NEWS.com.au.

“No customers or team members were injured.”
