WATCH: Trevor Noah Raps Pays for Report Saudis Rejected His Call, Says It Won’t Happen Under Trump

Trevor Noah, the host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” angered President Joe Biden after his phone calls were reportedly ignored by Arab leaders in recent days, saying added that they would not do so if former President Donald Trump was still in office.

He said whether the rumors about the rejected call are true or not, it has never happened to the former president.

“You have to be kidding me,” Noah said. “Obviously Saudi Arabia won’t even pick up the phone to the President of the United States.”

He went on to mock Saudi and UAE heads of state for trying to avoid the president’s phone call.

“But either way, man, there’s no denying that Saudi Arabia isn’t playing football with Joe Biden. And you know what, you can say what you want, but this will never happen with Donald Trump. Never. No one is ignoring Donald Trump’s calls,” he argued.

“That’s right, because if you ignore Donald Trump’s calls, you don’t know how he’s going to respond. Maybe he’ll send an angry tweet, or maybe he’ll want to ban your country from everything. You don’t know,” said the presenter.

“That’s why I bet in these situations, Biden really wishes he could hire Trump to be the ‘Wildcard President,’ you know, to keep everyone’s attention. Because if Trump is calling, you better believe the UAE (United Arab Emirates) will race to pick up,” he said.

“‘Mr. Trump, we’re here, we’re here, hello,'” he said, taunting whoever took the call.

“Too late Ahmed, you made me wait two rings, we’re bombing the UAE and the UFC just in case,” he said, mimicking the former president’s accent.

Reports that Arab heads of state are ignoring Biden’s call come as Biden is trying to convince these countries to increase oil production to compensate for the Russian oil ban he has imposed. at the beginning of the week amid soaring prices.

While Republicans have targeted Joe Biden for weeks over rising energy prices, oil and gas have now risen to the point where even Democratic lawmakers are pressing the president.

Criticism from Democrats has been particularly heightened after reports earlier this week the Biden administration was looking to replace embargoed Russian oil with crude from other authoritarian regimes including Iran and Venezuela.

Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Advocacy Committee, argued that the United States “should not trade one tyrant to another to meet America’s energy needs.” Ky.”

“We need to blow a hole in the Russian economy. We need to lower the price of gasoline for American consumers. Everything should be on the table,” he said in an interview. “But I am not in favor of strengthening one dictator to hurt another. And I don’t think you’ll see us do that.” WATCH: Trevor Noah Raps Pays for Report Saudis Rejected His Call, Says It Won’t Happen Under Trump
