Watch: Thiago Alcantara scores an impressive goal for Liverpool in the Champions League

Thiago Alcantara is one of the most aesthetically pleasing football bookies operating today. Last night Liverpool won with a score of 2-0. Sadio Mane had a goal disallowed by VAR in the 38th minute, before Thiago finally made his breakthrough seven minutes into the second half. Mohamed Salah doubled their advantage in the 70th minute to complete the deal.

This result means that Liverpool are still top of Group B, 10 points ahead of second place Porto, third place Milan and bottom team Atletico Madrid 11 points. In the Premier League, Liverpool are third in the table. They are one point behind Manchester City and four points behind Chelsea.

Thiago joined Liverpool in the summer of 2020 from Bayern Munich, having just appeared to help the Bavarian giants win the Champions League. He joined Bayern from Barcelona back in 2013, and has been linked with a return to Camp Nou in recent weeks.
