Steven Adams is a big guy. At 6 foot-11 and 250 pounds, he’s a pretty big guy. No wonder he’s also incredibly strong. And as it turned out, the 28-year-old midfielder from New Zealand was also quite protective of his teammates. He doesn’t seem to like it when someone wants to fight one of his teammates.
So when the Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant and Tony Bradley of the Chicago Bulls center start to face each other, which means Adams will jump in and knock Bradley up, preventing a possible Morant-related change in the process.

Adams is a good teammate. He can keep Morant from getting into a situation where he could get injured or get him into any kind of unnecessary fouling trouble. And that’s a pretty important thing to do considering that Morant is the driving force for the Grizzlies.
