WATCH: FBI official tells Gaetz he doesn’t know where Hunter Biden’s laptop is

A senior FBI cyber official said during testimony Tuesday that he had no idea where Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was reportedly confiscated in 2019, is currently located.

“So where is it? The laptop?” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) asked FBI Cyber Division Assistant Director Bryan A. Vorndran, who responded that he had “no information” on his whereabouts.

He further stated that he did not know where the laptop was and he did not even know who should know the whereabouts of the laptop. according to PJ Media.

Gaetz once held up a copy of a receipt showing that the laptop was turned over to FBI agents by a Delaware computer repair shop in December 2019.

The Florida Republican then mentioned information regarding “international business deals, kickbacks and shakedowns” that could potentially harm the Biden family, including President Joe Biden.

“Has anyone at FBI Cyber been asked to assess whether or not the laptop poses a vulnerability?” Gaetz asked, but Vorndran didn’t answer the question directly.

That led to a chuckle from Gaetz, who then continued, “Have you assessed whether or not the first family is at risk from Hunter Biden’s laptop?”

But the FBI official again dodged the question.

“So you don’t have it, you don’t know who has it, you don’t know where it is, you’re the assistant director. You know, earlier you talked about whether or not you’re Grant Hill or Christian Laettner; It sounds like you’re the Chris Webber trying to take time off when you don’t have one,” Gaetz chided, referring to two iconic college basketball games.

“Sir, again, we can do this back and forth for the next few minutes,” Vorndran stammered. “I have no information on the Hunter laptop.”

“Do you know who we should assign this chair to ask these questions?” Gaetz pressed, but the FBI officer had no answer.

“Can you find that out?” asked the Florida legislature.

“I’ll be happy to forward your request to FBI headquarters,” Vorndran said.

Then Gaetz held up a USB stick and said: “Mr. Chairman, I seek unanimous approval to enter the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which I possess, in the records of this committee.”

But the chairman, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (DN.Y.), refused, telling Gaetz, “I’m not … I will appeal until further investigation is completed.”
