WATCH: Ex-CIA agent issues ‘declaration of war’ warning against Russia

A former CIA officer strongly warned on Friday that the United States and the West could be slow to move into a major conflict with one of the world’s largest nuclear-armed militaries.

Former spy, Bryan Dean Wright, told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson he believes the US has effectively declared war on Russia, Mediaite report.

Store notes:

Civilians face the wrath of one of the world’s largest militaries, but Ukraine’s fighters have a strong defense. None of that would have been possible without help from the West, as Ukraine is not a particularly wealthy country.

American-made missiles, ammunition, and other important equipment have helped the country stop the Russian advance.

On Tucker Carlson Tonight, Wright told Carlson that arming Ukraine was tantamount to a declaration of war.

“The possibility of a hot war [is] more real and real every day,” he said, commenting on the possibility that the US and Russian militaries could actually exchange firepower.

“What I’m asking the United States to do tonight is put aside their hatred of Putin or Zelenskyy, for that matter, of Ukraine or Russia,” he continued, noting that the aid that the US and the West give are sending Ukraine the equivalent of a declaration of war, as well as economic sanctions being put in place.

“Please understand that we have, in fact, declared war against Russia. We did three things,” Wright continued.

“One, we crippled their economy. Two, we’re buying all these weapons. And, third, this has not received much press coverage – we are providing tactical intelligence to the Ukrainian government to mark an X on the forehead of a Russian soldier and Russian equipment. Let me say it a little differently. Our spies and satellites are helping the Ukrainians kill Russians. So we declared war,” he said.

He went on to say that the Pentagon would decide what the war with Russia would entail but added that US troops had been essentially neutralized in Afghanistan by “goat herders”.

“But it concerns young people dying and we should talk about that too because our people in Washington will not be the ones who die,” he said.
