Who’s playing?

Cleveland @ Chicago

Current record: Cleveland 27-18; Chicago 27-15

What to know

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls will kick off a Central Division game at 8 p.m. ET on January 19 at United Center. The Cavaliers will move forward after a win while the Chicago will stumble after a loss.

Cleveland was able to take a solid win over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, with a 114-107 win. Protection point Darius Garland and center Jarrett Allen was one of the main players for Cleveland as the former beat a doubles with 22 points and 12 dimes along with six boards and the latter posted a double double with 14 points and ten rebounds. It was three games in a row where Allen had at least ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Monday’s game between Chicago and the Memphis Grizzlies was not particularly close, with Chicago at 119-106. Bulls fell 92-72 at the end of the third quarter, too much to recover. Chicago’s defeat came despite a quality match from the point guard Ayo Dosunmu, who dropped a double with 15 points and ten pounds along with six assists.

Without any buzzer beaters, the Cavaliers are expected to win a tight contest on Wednesday. They have been consistent earners against spread in favor (12-5-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.

Things went Cleveland’s way against Chicago in the teams’ previous meeting last December when they opened with a 115-92 win. The rematch could be a bit tougher for Cleveland as the team doesn’t have a home field advantage. We’ll see if a change of location makes a difference.
