Watch: Bronny and Bryce witness in court as their father, LeBron James, breaks the NBA all-time scoring record

On Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Lakers star LeBron James surpassed career points from Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Kareem Abdul Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He scored his 35th and 36th points of the game in the third quarter, 10.9 seconds ahead of a fading middle-class jumper.
With sons Bronny and Bryce and daughter Zhuri watching, James broke one of the sport’s most famous records, one held by Abdul-Jabbar for over 40 years.
Savannah James was on the sidelines watching her husband make history. Their children Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri were all in attendance to watch their father become the NBA’s top scorer. Gloria, LeBron’s mother, was also in attendance to witness one of her son’s most memorable moments.

The entire James family ran towards the Lakers superstar as soon as he accomplished the feat and play was briefly paused to celebrate him.
When the game was over, James brought his family into the courtyard, kissed his wife, Savannah, and hugged his mother, Gloria. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver praised James after the Lakers presented a tribute video. Abdul-Jabbar handed James the ball and hugged him.
NBA Central shared a recorded message from the James family congratulating him on being the top scorer.
“Hi, my love, I’m here to congratulate you on becoming the all-time leading scorer in the NBA,” said Savannah James. “I am so proud of you, I have witnessed the hard work, sacrifice and professionalism you put into this game every day.”
“Congratulations dad. I’m proud of you for all the work you’ve done,” Bronny said.
Bryce and Zhuri both conveyed similar messages to their father, who set the record with a fadeaway jumper with 10.9 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
