Absolutely glorious! WWE posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which they showed Bobby Roode’s full debut on the main roster in 2017. He debuted on the August 22 episode of Smackdown Live.
You can watch the full video below:
Our own words Thomas Hall:
Fans go INSANE for the entrance and Roode seems to be a face, at least during the night. They took turns posing with Roode drying English clothes on the floor and giving us a break. Back to English in control but Roode pushed him into the corner for some shots. An arm ahead of the Blockbuster setup as JBL says that Roode needs to win to get some beer money. English achieved the Director’s Cut for two but stepped into a sensation. Glorious DDT ends English at 6:28.
Result: Bobby Roode b. Aiden English – Glorious DDT (6:28)
After the game, Roode said everything he did was a big box office hit, and in a brief minute in New York, Smackdown went from great to GLORIOUS.
I’ve always been a huge fan of him and think he hasn’t reached his full potential in the starting lineup. Even though he’s a former US champion, I definitely think he has the potential to be a world champion and hope that he gets that opportunity before his career ends. That would be absolutely AMAZING!
