“Was that really a devastating miscarriage?” Michele Tafoya slams Lisa Guerrero’s miscarriage allegations to MNF

Lisa Guerrero, a former Monday Night Football reporter, has released a new book. In her autobiography, she describes a miscarriage while working at a game in 2003.

Michele Tafoya, another former Sunday Night Football sideline presenter, has slammed the claim, calling it an attention-grabbing stunt. But would anyone even lie on such a sensitive subject?

In her book, Guerrero highlighted her struggles as a fringe reporter, including criticism from members of the media and arguments with bosses at Monday Night Football.

An excerpt from the PEOPLE article reads: “But, as she reveals for the first time, she has lost more than her job. Late that season, between eight and 12 weeks of pregnancy, Guerrero miscarried while on air in the middle of a game.”

Tafoya countered that claim with the retaliation, “Trust me when I tell you, all my best friends knew about this. I don’t know why 15 years later you wait to publish a book to reveal it to your best friends. So, I hesitate, was that really a devastating miscarriage?”

The fact that Guerrero chose not to tell her best friend about her miscarriage caused Tafoya to have doubts, as she has had multiple miscarriages herself and she’s been very open about it.

She further accused: “I think what she is doing is wrong and I think her motives are not pure. It’s a tough business and that’s what she signed up for. Either you cut it off or you can’t. I contend she wasn’t tough enough.”
