‘Wake up mate’ – Khamzat Chimaev trolls Jorge Masvidal by sharing his infamous KO of Kamaru Usman » FirstSportz

Khamzat Chimaev is ready to fight his sixth UFC fight and this time he will face UFC veteran Nate Diaz. Chimaev waged war with Gilbert Burns in his final Octagon appearance at UFC 273, defeating the Brazilian via split decision. It was a close fight but in the end Chimaev became the division’s new #3 fighter.
On the other hand, Diaz, who will be fighting his last UFC fight of his contract, has won a fight since 2019. However, the fighter has a massive following that will go insane to see him back in the octagon.
Jorge Masvidal, Diaz’s former rival, recently did an interview with MMA Fighting where he shared his thoughts on the matter Chimaev. During the conversation, Chimaev is not worth the hype and may lose the fight to Diaz. He said :
“It was supposed to be his coming out party and it didn’t go to plan. Many people still believe that Gilbert won that fight. I don’t really think Khamzat is as good as they say he is. I am more of a seer than a believer [guy] and I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe in this guy. I personally would like to break his face. Once he starts selling pay per views and s* so I wouldn’t mind breaking his face… I think Khamzat probably wins, but I can imagine Nate knocking him out in rounds four or five because Khamzat doesn’t have that gas tank. He doesn’t have that experience, and I think he also gets it in the moment where he’s wasting energy doing stupid shit.”

It seems like these comments from Masvidal did not go unnoticed by Chimaev aa the Russian decided to hit back.
‘The Borz’ took to Twitter to share the images of Masvidal from UFC 261 against the Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman. Chimaev wrote:
“Wake up buddy @GamebredFighter 😂.”
In the pictures, Masvidal can be seen lying on the ground after being KO’d by Usman in the second round.
The knockout is considered one of the most brutal KOs of all time in the UFC. After that loss, Masvidal lost his next fight against Colby Covington that year as well. The ‘Gamebred’ is currently in a difficult position at UFC and is keen to turn the tables as soon as possible.
