Virgin Australia passenger fumes after ‘most disgusting’ act on flight

A passenger on a Virgin Australia flight slammed another traveler, calling their actions one of the “most disgusting things” they’ve seen on a flight.
The traveler, who was on a flight from the Gold Coast to Melbourne on Wednesday, shared a picture of another passenger in the row behind him, who had removed his shoes and was resting his feet on the row of arms in front of him.
The image shows two bare feet wedged between a gap and rested in front.

“This has to be one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen on a flight in a long time,” the traveler wrote in a Facebook post alongside the picture.
“Even the poor old pup doesn’t look too impressed,” he added, referring to a service dog sitting next to him.
“Finally, after enduring it for 20 minutes, she was politely asked and pulled her back. She was fine with it because the seat (in front of her) was empty.”
The picture, shared on a Facebook group, received many comments from other horrified people.
“Disgusting,” said one.
“Put the seat back and wedge those damn feet! How anyone can think this behavior is acceptable is just appalling!” another added.
Others have found creative ways to get revenge next time.
“Just tickle the soles of their feet,” one person joked.
“Should have let the dog lick her feet,” suggested another.
Virgin Australia’s dress code requires all passengers to wear shoes to board.
However, there are currently no strict guidelines as to whether shoes must be worn when sitting on an airplane.
The moment the officers arrived on the plane was captured by Mr Malou, who recorded their exchange for over a minute before being removed from the plane.
