Virgin Australia launches massive flight sale with 500,000 discounted fares on sale

Australians looking for a cheap getaway are in luck as one of the country’s biggest airlines is launching a massive flight sale, with fares as low as US$55 one-way.

Half a million cheaper Virgin Australia seats will be on offer from Monday to destinations including Byron Bay, Sydney, Fiji and Bali – but hurry, tickets are expected to sell out in no time.

Cheap one-way flights are available from Sydney to Byron Bay for as little as $55 or to the Sunshine Coast from as little as $75.

Travelers can also fly from Adelaide to Melbourne from $89 or from Melbourne to the Gold Coast from $99.

International destinations include round trips from Sydney to Fiji from $459, Gold Coast to Bali from $489 and Melbourne to Bali from $585.

The airline announced the sale along with announcing record growth in business travelers as bookings hit more than 110 percent of pre-COVID levels this month.

Virgin Australia Group Chief Commercial Officer Dave Emerson encouraged Australians to take advantage of cheap air fares before they are gone.

“January is a month of planning for the year ahead – opportunities for vacation, business travel, meeting family and friends or exploring a new part of the country – we have so many great fares on offer, whatever the reason for travel,” said emerson

The Bring on 2023 Sale will run until midnight AEST on February 6th unless sold out before then.
