Vegas Odds on Super Bowl 2022 (Bengals Still Losing to Rams)

For football fans as well as bettors, everyone is playing the waiting game ahead of Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

While some sportsbooks open up betting lines with the LA Rams being the 3.5-point favorite against the Cincinnati Bengals, the odds providers at WynnBET decided to open Rams as a 4 point favorite instead.

“We had an online chat during the closing of the NFC Championship through our own internal channels,” WynnBET trader Jon Manica exclusively with BetSided next Monday opened lines.

“[Senior Trading Manager] Motoi Pearson and [Senior Trading Manager] Alan Berg discussed the game earlier and came up with the current number to be -4. Elsewhere open -3.5. “

So far, traders Manica and WynnBET have got the numbers right, as spreads have remained stagnant for more than half a week. A few books had enough action to move the number up to Rams -4.5, but when it got there, it was quickly bet back to -4.

“Although some other sportsbooks use slightly different numbers, WynnBET feel good about their opening, as indicated more in total,” Manica continued.

“However, we stuck with -4 and saw that a total of 50 or 50.5 was being used. We thought that was a bit high. So we hung 49.5 and it’s 49 now. (now down to 48.5).

WynnBET’s latest insights into the game ahead suggest a bit more action on the Rams’ side. 56.3% of all spread bets go to LA. The actual handle also supports Rams, which is 62.8% of the money.

In terms of overall score, WynnBET saw their 49.5 drop by a full point, but that’s largely due to underrated experts. 63% of the amount was under the money, while 59.3% of the tickets were in favor of the above amount.

For those looking to place underdogs, you might want to consider waiting until close to the starting point when more casual bettors are likely to jump in. Super Bowl It is one of the few times in the sports betting calendar where change doesn’t always overwhelm sportsbooks over the general public.

As for the action on Cincinnati, Manica told BetSided they have received some early bets for the Bengals, just not enough to make at this point.

“Early action happened for Cincinnati to win outright as the underdogs, but not enough to move the contagion,” Manica said.

“Bets have come into the Bengals cashflow after opening, but nothing has been able to facilitate a move out of -4 or correct current cashflow.”
