Vanessa Hudgens is still the reigning queen of Coachella.
The actress, who has been beating the festival’s fashion game year after year, was back in full swing for the 2022 event after the COVID-19 pandemic caused a two-year hiatus.
The 33-year-old posted pictures to her Instagram on April 16 from day one of the music event in Indio, California, wearing a custom creation by the designer Natalie Fedner. Handcrafted from more than 900 feet of link chain, the standout piece was styled with a cut-out swimsuit underneath, combat boots, a straw hat and Valentino handbag.
“It’s just such a fun place to dress how you want, and I definitely do,” Vanessa told E! Updates on her festival style in an exclusive interview at the Caliwater booth at Expo West. “
Humiliating at the attention she receives each year, she admitted she finds her moniker “Queen of Coachella” “adorable.”
“It’s really nice to be seen,” she explained. “That’s what we all want: to be seen and to feel safe to express ourselves. Coachella has always been a place where I felt safe to express myself.”
