USA TODAY High School Football Super 25 from September 19, 2023
Two top-10 teams fell last week, creating a huge shake-up in USA TODAY’s latest HSS Super 25 soccer rankings – including one of the biggest (and most controversial) climbs in the poll in recent history . Both Mater Dei (Santa, Ana, California) and Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nevada) remained at the top, while Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Florida) rounded out the top three.
The Methodology: The HSS staff constructs the Super 25 rankings, taking into account various data points including strength of schedule, prospects, the more traditional stats – did the team win or lose? – as well as the overall point difference.
