US singer Ethel Cain collapses on stage while headlining Vivid Sydney

One of the Vivid Sydney Festival headliners collapsed on stage while performing her performance on Saturday night after just three songs.

Ethel Cain, real name Hayden Silas Anhedönia, was performing at the Sydney Opera House when she suddenly fell to the floor.

The American artist is believed to have performed her song A house in Nebraska at that time.

Concert-goers shared online that they had been told that Anhedönia was in a stable condition at the event.

It’s unclear if the 25-year-old’s show will go ahead on Sunday night.

Vivid Sydney and St John’s Ambulance have been contacted for comment.

The festival kicked off its biggest opening weekend to date this year, attracting more than 453,000 visitors.
