Urban Meyer’s less successful stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars still seems to be messing with the former head coach.
It’s the same as before Jacksonville Jaguars Head coach Urban Meyer didn’t really enjoy his time in the NFL. While Meyer is considered a college football legend, his time with a professional team was much less successful and he was fired before his first season as a football player. Complete NFL coach.
Meyer recently sat down with OutKick’s Dan Dakich to discuss a variety of topics related to Meyer’s less prominent experience in the NFL.
According to Meyer, trading with more losses than wins is quite difficult for him to accept.
“It eats away at your soul,” Meyer said.
Meyer also said his time in the NFL was the worst coaching experience he’s had.
“It was the worst experience I’ve had in my professional life,” explained the former Jaguars coach.

Urban Meyer is still struggling with losses after leaving Jacksonville Jaguars
That doesn’t sound like much fun. But, a lot of the success the Jaguars have had can be attributed to Meyer. At the end of the day, he’s the head coach and it’s very clear Jacksonville has a lot of problems going on.
Some terrible weakness from Meyer’s experience with the NFL? Yes, it’s time Meyer allegedly called his assistant coach a “failure” and also the time he is said to have kicked a player for missing a kick.
None of this makes for a good time for anyone. It’s probably a good thing for everyone that Meyer leaves the NFL.
