The first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament has officially taken place. Here’s a look at the crazy March roster updated ahead of Round 32.

Other highlights from Saturday blocking vehicle included UCLA’s showdown with fellow state rival Saint Mary’s, Michigan’s bid to win Tennessee and reach the Sweet Round of 16, and a thrilling match to end the day as Gonzaga faced a number seed. 9 is very dangerous in Memphis.

The first weekend of March Madness will wrap up Sunday with action from groups in Greenville, San Diego, Pittsburgh and Milwaukee. Several double-digit seeds will be looking to extend their NCAA Tournament run into the Sweet Round of 16 as well as Miami, Notre Dame and Iowa State trying to build on their unsettled opening-round record.

Sunday’s other storylines include Duke’s quest to bring Mike Krzyzewski back to the Sweet 16 in his final year as head coach of the Blues and a gripping Pittsburgh game in the middle of an attack. Villanova’s strong attack and a solid Ohio State defense beat Loyola Chicago in the first round.
