Update on Jim Ross – Wrestling News

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross previously announced that he will be leaving AEW Dynamite in the next few weeks when he begins treatment for skin cancer.
Ross is set to undergo 22 radiation treatments in the meantime with the hope that he can return to the announcement desk on December 29 in Jacksonville, FL.
Rafael Morffi, who works for AEW on their live events business, tweeted the following update on Ross, where he noted that the legendary broadcaster was always focused and strong on the challenge.
“Spending the holiday week with JR in Jacksonville and working in Chicago – he’s strong, focused & ready to take on this challenge. Looking forward to hoping he’s back better than ever @dailysplace #AEWDynamite 12/29 & for @AEW’s @TBSNetwork debut 1/5 from Newark’s @PruCenter. ”
On behalf of everyone at WrestlingNews.co, we wish Ross all the best during this difficult time and look forward to his return to broadcasting.
