Ultima Online announces a summer solstice BBQ event on July 7th
If you’re still looking for a cookout next weekend and haven’t quite partyed yet, and you also love classic MMOs, you’re invited to both Ultimate Online next weekend.
Studio Broadsword, which has been making headlines for the last few weeks as it is about to take over Star Wars The Old Republicannounced a “Summer Solstice BBQ” event – actually two events – for July 7th.
“We would like to welcome everyone to our Summer Solstice BBQ at the Origin Casino on July 7th. We will be adding a gate to make it easier for you to visit us and maybe play some games, eat some good seafood and have a nice cold root beer drink. Due to the large number of players who joined us last time, we are splitting the BBQ game hours. This year we open Summer Solstice on July 7th at 11am-1pm, then we take a break and return at 5pm-7pm ET.”
The event includes boat racing, ludo, a dive booth staffed by the event GMs, a pyramid puzzle, hide and seek, a shell hunt, a tiki bar and a crab shack. This game is 25 years old and adorable.
