UFC superstar Conor McGregor shows his dad’s heartwarming side on a fun family trip to Disney World

Conor McGregor will finally return to the octagon this year after staying out of the fighting game for nearly two years due to a nasty leg injury at UFC 264 in July 2021. While fight dates are yet to be announced, McGregor recently announced that he will soon begin official training camp for the fight, presumably at the legendary “Big Bear” gym.

As of now, ‘The Notorious’ seems to be enjoying his few days off, with photos of him and his family at Disneyland surfacing online. The 34-year-old spent a lot of time with his wife Dee Devlin and three young children. In fact, McGregor was also spotted at the world-famous amusement park in 2020 after his 40-second KO win over Donald Cerrone.

When is the next time Conor McGregor fights?

McGregor is poised to fight top lightweight contender Michael Chandler in the second half of this year, most likely in July or August, as the Irishman himself says. Before the fight, McGregor and Chandler will also face off on the 31st installment of The Ultimate Fighter, which airs May 15 on ESPN. Both fighters have already wrapped up filming for the location and will now only see each other at eye level in the UFC octagon.

McGregor had now been out of active competition for nearly two years, but even at peak fitness, Conor wasn’t the most active fighter. Since winning the lightweight belt in 2017 against Eddie Alvarez, McGregor has fought just four times in the ensuing years, with just one win, against a struggling Cowboy Cerrone.

Speaking of the fight against Chandler, The ‘Mystic Mac’ said: “For Chandler, I’m just too skilled for him, I’m too skilled for him and he’s never fought anyone like me. I’ve fought someone like him before though… It’s just in general. It’s mixed martial arts style, right? The little wrestler. It’s just kind of MMA, isn’t it? It’s nothing special… or unsafe. I’ve fought that style for many, many years.”

Do you think Conor McGregor can turn back the clock and demonstrate his former dominance, or will his career come to a bitter end?
