UConn basketball head coach Dan Hurley wore a pair of amazingly fun socks when the Huskies played against Georgetown Hoyas.
There wasn’t much to learn about UConn Huskies No. 21 in Sunday’s game against Georgetown.
The Hoyas were going into the game 6-21 and the Huskies did what they expected, beating an inferior opponent without a hitch.
The college basketball world learned something about head coach Dan Hurley. The man has a great sense of humour.
We know this because of his socks.
UConn head coach Dan Hurley’s socks made a statement versus Georgetown
A photo of Hurley’s socks still reveals that they say, “Love me a good poop.”
Those are the socks equivalent of the children’s book “Everybody Poops”. Very good for Hurley for putting on the mantle of normalizing poops, especially good poops.
It makes you wonder what kind of socks we can expect for Hurley when the season ends and things get serious in the NCAA tournament. Are the other winners sitting in his closet at home?
UConn needed no luck for this game with RJ Cole leading with 18 points while Tyrese Martin dominated the table with 14 rebounds.
They may need them later. The Huskies are currently third in the Big East with an overall score of 21-7 and 12-5 in the conference game. They are looking to appear in the NCAA Tournament for the second time since 2017 this year.
