Ubisoft’s Project Q has been officially announced, not a battle royale

Ubisoft has confirmed suspicions of an upcoming game in the pipeline. The company responsible for hits like the Assassin’s Creed franchise and the Far Cry series has confirmed in one tweet that something new is in the works.
The game, codenamed Project Q, is said to be a team-based battle arena game. Ubisoft, in response to its original tweet, clarifies that while players can expect a battle arena, it will not be a battle royale game. In fact, the description in the tweet itself states that the game will be something that allows players to “truly own the experience.” To address some concerns from fan responses, Ubisoft has clarified that there are currently no plans to add NFTs to Project Q, although the game is still in its early stages.
What this means and what players can expect isn’t very clear just yet, but based on the link in the tweet, which takes players to a sign-up form for more details, we know Project Q is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and the Xbox series are based. No mention was made of Google Stadia or Nintendo Switch as a possible platform for the game.
