Tyler, the creator, knows shoes. And with over 15 shoe collaborations under his belt (in addition to six chart-topping albums), some might say the multi-hyphenated artist traverses the fashion industry as naturally as he did the music scene at that point. Today he’s back with a brand new silhouette for Converse, as part of an ongoing collaboration between the footwear company and the rapper’s streetwear brand.
Its new design, called GLF 2.0, incorporates the signature Golf le Fleur tones but swaps them out the floral motif found on the original design for eye-catching color blocking. The limited-edition collection, released Thursday morning, is available in both oil green/bison and curry/copper tan for $110 each.

An evolved version of the original GLF design in suede, the GLF 2.0 features both shells and flowing lines – a hallmark of the Converse x Golf le Fleur collabs. Overall, however, the new sneaker features a never-before-seen silhouette, with suede overlays and vibrant outsoles that blend an old-school court aesthetic with contemporary construction.

Also, the pairs are finished with a floral print on the sole. If the hi-tops are too much combined with the bold color, you can also opt for the quilted design of the low-top One Stars from Converse.

Converse x Golf Le Fleur Blue Flames

His 2019 ‘Flames’ collaboration is one of his most distinctive Converse designs to date, featuring bold, orange flames that have now become a signature image for the artist, having used it extensively in Golf Wang’s internal line since it was first showcased on his 2015 album cover for “Cherry Bomb”. Unsurprisingly, the coveted piece is still selling out almost everywhere online, but if you really want it, it might be worth bidding now before it becomes even more valuable in the years to come.
