Two injured when a $300,000 sports car crashes into a utility pole in Preston

Two people have been hospitalized after a luxury car crashed into a pole in north-east Melbourne.

The yellow McLaren, estimated to be worth at least $300,000, was traveling on St. Georges Road in Preston on Saturday night and crashed into a utility pole.

A passenger in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver was also taken to the hospital but suffered no life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
