Try Guys Delay Podcast after Ned Fulmer was ousted over cheating scandals

The three remaining members of the Try Guys are taking time to process the events that prompted the popular YouTube comedy troupe to sack their friend and co-founder Ned Fulmer after he confessed to having an extramarital affair at work.

The Try Guys trio — former BuzzFeed contributors Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang — said they will be taking a week-long hiatus from their regular podcast publication to “formulate our thoughts” as announced on Tuesday was that Fulmer is no longer part of the podcast group. The next episode of the TryPod is scheduled for next Thursday October 6th.

“The TryPod is on hiatus for a week and returns next week on October 6th. We wanted to take some time to formulate our thoughts before picking up the episode,” the group said tweeted late wednesday. “Thank you for your patience.”

Through their PR agency, the Try Guys declined to comment on whether they plan to cast a new fourth member following Fulmer’s firing.

In a September 27 statement, the group said: “Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we see no common path forward.” This comes after a flurry of speculation on social media and Reddit forums that Fulmer was having an affair with a co-worker. On the same day, Fulmer released a statement admitting to having “a consensual relationship at work” and apologizing to the Try Guys, their fans and his wife.

The Try Guys, who first began producing viral videos in 2014 while working at BuzzFeed, have switched their social media profile pictures to the group’s logo of a scrawled rhino. However, the TryPod podcast listings still show all four members, including on their own website.

“The Try Guys have swum with sharks, survived in the wild, shocked themselves with birth simulators and risked their lives for their videos,” the podcast description reads. “In this weekly podcast, they dissect their experiences as internet creators and best friends who made their living failing at the top.”
