Trump just pulled this important endorsement. This is why

If Trump’s endorsements weigh anything, they’ll be worth gold to the candidates who receive them. Unfortunately for Mo Brooks, Trump just withdrew his endorsement from the Alabama Republican, who was unsuccessful in the 2022 Senate race. He claimed as much in a statement, saying:

Mo Brooks of Alabama made a terrible mistake recently when he “wake up” and declared, referring to the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, “Put that behind your back, drop that. behind your back,” despite the fact that the Election is rife with fraud and irregularities. If we forget, the Radical Left Democrats will continue to Cheat and Steal the Election. Just look at what’s happening in Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia and elsewhere, but tremendous progress has been made that will get us into 2022 and 2024. The 2020 election has been rigged and we can’t let them ignore it.

When I endorse Mo Brooks, he has a 44-point lead and is unstoppable. He then hired a new campaign staff member who “excellent” convinced him to “stop talking about the 2020 Election”. He listened to them. Then, according to polls, Mo’s 44-point lead completely evaporated based on his “2020” statement made at our big rally in Cullman, Alabama. When I heard his statement, I said, “Mo, you just broke the Election, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” Very sad but, as he has decided to go in a different direction, so do I, and I withdraw Mo Brooks Endorsement to the Senate. I don’t think the greats of Alabama would disagree with me. Election fraud must be caught and stopped, or else we will have no Country. I will be doing a new Endorsement in the near future!

Trump also hit Brooks in a second statement, one regarding claims of voter fraud, speech:

Mo Brooks was a leader on 2020 Election Fraud and then, all of a sudden, during a massive protest in Alabama, he “wake up” and decided to give up everything he stood for — when he He did, the people of Alabama abandoned him, and now I have done the same. People get it, but unfortunately, Mo doesn’t.

As for Mitch McConnell, I am not a fan and no critic has been harsher than me. He’s really bad, and very bad for the GOP. The sooner he leaves “Leadership,” the better off the Republican Party will be.

Trump’s claim is correct in one thing: Brooks has certainly blown his lead. As the Alabama Daily News reported, Brooks is lagging far behind in the polls, a far behind one-third of his main challengers. report:

Mike Durant, the famous retired military helicopter pilot “Black Hawk Down,” leads a new poll in the race for the US Senate, with former Alabama Business Council President Katie Britt coming in second. and Congressman Mo Brooks lagged behind.

In a survey of likely Republican voters, 34.6% said they would vote for Durant if the election were held today, while 28.4% chose Britt and 16.1% chose Brooks. Only 14.1% remain undecided.

It was a huge drop in support for Brooks, who was leading the race, taking 40.8% of the vote, back. in August. Now, in March, the “Black Hawk Down” pilot is leading the way.

And while Trump focused on election fraud in his statement, that could come down to the bigger problem with Mo Brooks: he’s losing.

Trump doesn’t like to lose or be associated with losers, so his pulling of his endorsement now that Brooks is a third away may be less about voter fraud and more about keeping the image of his endorsements unpunished.

If he starts picking losers, they will be of less value and his influence over the GOP may be waning. If he can reorient and pick out the winners, that could help him preserve his image.

Perhaps Trump is really just being brought up about Brooks not repeating his views on the 2020 election, however, with the part in the statement about Brooks’s lead disappearing and wanting clarity. With Trump’s clear view of being winners and associated with winners, it’s probably more likely that Brooks got kicked out in no small part because of how badly he’s doing. Trump just pulled this important endorsement. This is why
