Trump Gives Big Clues To The 2024 Race And His Potential Running Friend

The Washington Examiner recently did a phone interview with former President Donald Trump, and boy did he give some important news on what his widely anticipated 2024 run could look like. how. Like a store report:
“I don’t think people will accept it,” Trump told the Washington Examiner Tuesday night in an extensive phone call interview from Mar-a-Lago, his private social club and political headquarters in Palm Beach, Florida.
Speaking to the Washington Examiner about his relationship with Pence, Trump said “Mike and I had a great relationship except for the very important part that happened at the end. We had a very good relationship,” Trump said. “I haven’t talked to him in a long time. ”
Of course, that “very important factor” would be Trump’s statement about voter fraud and his request that Pence meddle in the final days of the election.
Of course, Trump insisted that the election was stolen and repeatedly insisted that Pence would overturn the outcome during congressional certification of the Electoral College vote that would put Biden in office.
Pence, never before has anyone come out with such a radical attempt to salvage Republican dominance, insists he cannot do so because, in his view, the Constitution The law does not grant him such powers.
So the two men have split, and the way Trump talks about it, it seems the split is good. As Judge Washington report about what he said in their conversation:
“Mike thinks he’s going to be a human, that no matter how rigged the votes are, you have to send them to Old Crow,” Trump said. use his nickname for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
“But that turned out to be false. Because now, as you know, they’re working hard to try to get there so the vice president can’t do what Mike says he can’t do,” the former president added, referring to to proposals to amend the Electoral College Act. “Obviously they’re lying, misrepresenting, or they just don’t know.”
“I’m disappointed in Mike,” Trump said.
And that’s important news, as it means Trump will head in a different direction if (more likely “when”) he runs in 2024, something he has recently hinted at multiple times that he can do.
For example, in his much-loved CPAC keynote, he said:
“they’ll find the hard way, starting on November 8th and then again, even more in November 2024, they’ll find a way like never before. We have done it twice and we will do it again. We will do it again for the third time. The radical left has tried to replace American democracy with the awakened autocracy. Our mission in 2022 and 2024 is to confront this radical and power-hungry ruling class and bring them to an electoral defeat.”
When asked by the host of the Full Send Podcast if he would run for president again, the host asked “The question is, Don, you hinted at it. Would you come back and run for President of the United States?,” Trump responded by saying:
“The campaign finance law really doesn’t allow you to discuss that unless you actually have to go through a different process,” Trump replied. “So I think a lot of people will be really happy. You guys can be really happy but I think a lot of people will be very happy. But, I will wait.”
So with all the different speeches and interviews, coupled with the striking fact that he’s interviewing and speaking right now, it looks like he’s coming back in 2024 and that Pence will. must not be left anywhere near the ticket.
Next time, perhaps, he’ll pick a sinewy conservative knife fighter, perhaps of the DeSantis variety, instead of the sold-out Conservative, Inc. like Milquetoast Mike Pence.
