Tragic incident after a toddler was hit by a car near Brisbane

A toddler was tragically hit by a car at a country estate north of Brisbane on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called around 2:40 p.m. to the incident on private property in Dakabin.

Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and found the three-year-old boy in critical condition.

A spokesman for Queensland Ambulance confirmed they did not transport the child’s body.

The incident is being investigated but Queensland Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
