Traffic stop leads to arrest of Winslow man

EQUAL – ONE Winslow A man is facing drug trafficking charges after a vehicle stopped at Fairfield early Thursday morning.

Fairfield Police Department Public Information Officer Casey Dugas said officers stopped at 31 Jacob Bizier just after midnight.

While conducting a traffic stop, they found evidence that led to a search of his car.

Dugas said officers found cocaine and methamphetamine as well as items related to drug trafficking.

Bizier was arrested and taken to Somerset County Jail.

He was charged with the more serious counts of drug trafficking and illegal possession of scheduled drugs.
