Trae Young’s reaction after the shock loss to the Knicks

NS Atlanta Hawks may have lost New York Knicks in their highly anticipated rematch after their last meeting in the 2021 knockout round; however, Trae Young doesn’t mind that.

After a close encounter, which saw the Knicks retreat with a Win 99-90Young has come Twitter to share his optimism about the team. Sure, the Hawks lost in their growing rivalry with the ‘Bockers, but Ice Trae reminded everyone that this was just a regular game of the season and that the entire campaign was a hit.

Trae Young played well against the Knicks, finishing with 33 points on the 1/2 shot – including 5/10 from the long shot. He also had four rebounds and seven assists in nearly 40 minutes.

Unfortunately for Young, his efforts weren’t enough as the Knicks had some balanced production from Evan Fournier, Alec Burks, RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin.

While Young won’t create any major problems after the loss, the Knicks and their fan base are certainly excited to take down the Hawks and their superstardom. After all, Young became a villain to New York supporters after his antics in the knockout stages – which annoyed fans.

Simply put, the Knicks now have the right to brag about their new opponents.

Plus, this loss for the Hawks will only make things more interesting when they see each other again at Christmas. Will Trae and Atlanta ruin the Big Apple holidays? Well, we’ll find out shortly.
