Tracee Ellis Ross doesn’t play when it comes to being a fashion icon. The 49-year-old’s chic style is constantly receiving compliments from fans, celebrities and high-fashion designers.
Her latest Instagram post, in which she poses in an all-black Proenza Schouler pant suit with a large ottoman in a doorway, was the next in line to garner widespread praise.
The actress uploaded her in the outfit as she strutted six different positions so her 11.1million Instagram followers could see her Karla Welch-styled ensemble perfectly.
“A pouf and a peplum,” Ross captioned her photo.
Not long after her upload, Ross’ comments section was filled with compliments on her hair, outfit and overall presence.
“How the hell do you look good in every hairstyle and outfit? Like you’re so beautiful it makes me nauseous, but I love you!”
“Oh, I love this look! [heart eyes]”
“You look hot in everything you wear!”
The adoration is usually sent to Ross every time she decides to show fans an iconic outfit of hers. Ahead of her latest Instagram post, Ross uploaded two photos of her wearing a yellow pantsuit while rocking her natural curls while taking photos for her haircare company, Pattern Beauty. The photo received over 125,000 likes with over 1,000 comments that endlessly complemented her look.
In 2020, Ross was named the People’s Choice Awards fashion icon and she has spoken about how much the title means to her and where her love of fashion comes from.
She told E! News reporter Giuliana Rancic: “It started very young. Honestly, my mother is Diana Ross. She’s a fashion icon that I actually follow and my dad has impeccable taste.”
Ross continued to equate fashion as “armour” in which it could be seen as it “wanted to be seen.”
Ross may be an actress, but her beloved style has also earned her the title of fashion icon.
