Torchlight Infinite features patch notes and a video preview of the January 12 Blacksail season

Torchlight infinite may have already shared a preview of the January 12 Blacksail season, but now It shares another preview as well as the patch notes. So it’s clear things have been updated since that first look.

The latest video preview breaks down next season’s feature set into eight parts across a 16-minute video, with highlights on controller support, a new character and trait, a preview of the eponymous Blacksail quest involving some Voidish pirates , and a variety of improvements to game systems and features.

These updates are detailed in the aforementioned patch notes, which are so voluminous that they had to be pasted into a Google Doc. Fans should note that not all notes are written out yet; Parts four through six are still ongoing at the time of writing, but developer XD Games is promising they’ll be added next week.
