Tony Hawk responds to the Wesley Snipes meme at the Oscars.
While everyone was focused on the Will Smith/Chris Rock drama, a great story broke through the cracks.
Wesley Snipes didn’t assassinate Tony Hawk.
Ok, so you might be confused. We’ll break it down for you.
In October 2018, Hawk responded to a gun-wielding Snipes meme with the caption, “When the race war was on and I had to kill Tony Hawk.”
Hawk wrote “I appreciate the hesitation,” and fans ate it.
Now, FOUR YEARS AFTER, Hawk has brought the joke back with an Oscar night post.
“I have been spared. Life is good,” he tweeted along with a photo of the two of them together.
Hawk just proved he’s an Oscar winner and it hasn’t even come close.
