The couple has yet to share photos from the ceremony, but Richmond AFLW star twins Sarah and Jess Hosking have shared moments from the day on social media.

Bedford, a former bricklayer, plays for the Frankston Bombers in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League and travels with Tones – real name Toni Watson – on tour as a stage technician.

Tones and I rose to fame with their first two hits, “Johnny Run Away” and “Dance Monkey,” after starting out busking the streets of Byron Bay.

Originally from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Tones was added to AFR’s Young Rich List last year and is said to be worth $35 million.

Speaking on the radio in early 2022, the pop star shared the sweet way her then-fiancé got on one knee in a recording studio.

The Australian hitmaker recalled Jimmy’s proposal of a “Will you marry me?” tattoo on his right kneecap.

“I came back from the pub … and[Jimmy]was like, ‘Oh come down to the studio, I want to show you something,'” she said on KIIS FM last year

“I thought he just farted into the mic and put a reverb on it or something.

“So I hit play and he’s like… ‘Hey… I love you’ and all that stuff we say to each other, and then I turned around… he was laughing because he was so nervous.

“And at the end it was like, ‘Will you marry me?’ and when I turned around he was on one knee and on his right knee he had ‘Will you marry me?’ tattooed,” the 26-year-old told hosts Kyle and Jackie.

The pair first met at a pub just before the pandemic hit in 2020, when Jimmy complimented Tones’ hat.

“I met him at a pub in Frankston and didn’t really remember him … he just walked up to me and said ‘I like your hat,’ and that was it,” she said.

Announcing her engagement, the Melbourne-born pop star kept the caption simple, simply writing a ring emoji and tagging her fiancé Jimmy, who she had been dating for two years at the time.

Jimmy, meanwhile, captioned the same photo, “2021 has been a rough year for everyone but I ended mine with a yes I can’t wait for my best friend to become my wife.”
