Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is accepting registrations for closed alpha testing of the next chapter in Ubisoft’s loot shooter franchise. During Saturday’s Ubisoft Forward showcase, fans got a glimpse of Silver Creek, the Central American backdrop where the Strategic Homeland Division fights to keep the peace.
The Heartland Division will be a free to play survival action shooter, says Red Storm Entertainment developer Keith Evans in this latest video. Players are tasked with protecting Silver Creek from rogue SHD agents, new enemy factions, and a society devastated by the spread of Dollar Flu.
Closed Alpha registrations are accepted on TheDivisionHeartland.com. Ubisoft did not provide a date or window for when or when these tests would begin The Heartland Division would make its 1.0 start.
Elsewhere, Ubisoft said that seasons 10 and 11 will contain content for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 would arrive later this year. The new Seasons will feature new Manhunt objectives, drawing on The Division’s canon to bring back new enemies and companions.
Additionally, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, the mobile adaptation of the franchise, will also enter closed beta testing later this fall. This beta will also introduce The Divisions all sorts of loot-rich Dark Zone to mobile platforms.
