Tom Brady’s response to Colin Cowherd’s question hints at the possibility of an NFL return for the seven-time Super Bowl champion

After announcing his retirement Last Wednesday, Tom Brady was spotted in the media several times as people wanted to know why he retired and what his next step in life might be. Colin Cowherd is a little different from the rest of the crowd. Unlike many other interview show hosts and co-hosts, Colin doesn’t keep it easy. He asks Brady a question that was very popular last year.

When Brady announced his retirement last year, he was repeatedly asked if he would return to football. Brady didn’t disappoint his fans and eventually returned. However, many people laughed at him because he only retired for a short period of forty days. Now that TB12 has finally retired, Cowherd asked the legend the famous question of the last year: if fans will ever see him on the field again, is there even a 1% chance of getting him into football?

Tom Brady answers that question with a twist. Although he says he’s not coming back, his inner feelings for football are plain to see.

Tom Brady is the legend that he is and shares his heart with his fans first. He says: “I know in my heart how I feel. You know, I’ve made it to the field for 23 years and I’m super proud of what I’ve achieved. I just wanted to keep this last week short and sweet…”

He doesn’t stop there as he then reveals he’s not coming back. However, he is excited about what awaits him in the near future. So Tom says to Colin:

“I think when one thing ends football has for me you know 32 years of my life and you know. I look forward to what lies ahead. There are new chapters and there are no exciting things and there is new growth. There are new opportunities and I’m really looking forward to what lies ahead. So you know I loved my time in football. It’s absolutely incredible love in my life and it’s hard to make decisions like that, but it’s certainly the right time.”

Even though fans won’t see Tom Brady as a player anymore, they will surely see him in a new role. While we don’t know when that will happen, we hope Tom will continue to grow.
