Tom Brady is keeping his options open with a mysterious answer to the dolphin question

In his first press conference since coming out of retirement, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady kept his future open.

Most Brady press conferences end with more questions than answers, and Thursday’s edition was very on-brand. TB12 was specifically asked about the reported interest of the Miami Dolphins in allegedly being involved in Tua Tagovailoa as a replacement or in an ownership role.

Brady, as he almost always does, didn’t fully close the door on Miami’s reported interest. He didn’t take much notice either.

“I’ve had a lot of conversations with a lot of people over the last three or four years of my career about different options when I’m done playing football, so I kind of made a decision about what I’d like to do, and I’m going to at be there for a football game.” said Brady.

He went on to say that his only focus is what he can do for the Bucs in the upcoming season and his ultimate goal of winning another Super Bowl.

Fair enough.

Was the Dolphins’ Interest in Tom Brady Genuine?

Am I interested in a Porsche? Sure, why not.

Miami doesn’t have many options at QB. They tried to trade for Deshaun Watson and failed as he is now in Cleveland. They claim to believe in Tua but have attempted to replace him on several occasions. In all likelihood, that was part of it a check-in also on Brady.

In this particular case, it’s not much of an offense to Tagovailoa. Brady is the best quarterback of all time. If he’s available and interested, call.

There were separate rumors that Brady would be interested in joining the franchise in an ownership role. He didn’t let them rest either.

So, as is usually the case, nothing can be confirmed or denied. Tom Brady brings his own news, just ask Adam Schefter. Tom Brady is keeping his options open with a mysterious answer to the dolphin question
