The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks will face off in a big game on Tuesday night.
Dallas won the most recent meeting between these two teams, but the Warriors are backed by 3.5 points at home at WynnBET.
I have a couple of favorites in mind for this game, where two of the tournament’s best players face Steph Curry and Luka Doncic:
Luka Doncic OVER 8.5 assists (+100)
It’s no secret that Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA, but he’s hit the charts more than usual since returning from injury earlier in the season.
Doncic brought a whole new level of offensive in Dallas, as he continued to open things up to his teammates at the bottom of that floor.
In his last 11 games, Doncic averaged 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. He’s also completed 6.5 rebounds in all 11 games and 13 in a row since before his ankle injury.
I wish he had higher odds to beat this number against Golden State.
First quarter BELOW 54.5 points (-110)
The Mavericks and Warriors combined averaged 55 points per game in the first quarter of this season, but as we saw in their first game, this could be a low-scoring game.
Golden State is number 1 in the NBA in defensive rating and Dallas is number 4, plus Dallas also plays with the second slowest pace in the NBA.
There’s the potential for Doncic or Curry to explode in a big inning, but I think both of these teams are sticking to their roots and defending on Tuesday.
Maxi Kleber BELOW 5.5 Rebounds (-125)
The Mavericks big man is averaging 5.7 rebounds per game this season, but he is now facing a Warriors team that tops the league in rebound percentage this season.
Kleber hasn’t been able to clear the line for five straight and seven of his last eight, so don’t expect him to return Tuesday night.
Peter Dewey’s betting record is 100-102-2 (-11.22 units) in the NBA this season. You can find them allchoose here.
