The Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat clash in this year’s Eastern Conference finals. Let’s take a look at some of the odds in favor of this match, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
LaMelo Ball BELOW 20.5 points (-108)
It’s a bit of a risky move considering Ball’s season-average is 20.2 points per game. But, this is more of a bet on Heat’s defense than a bet on Ball. The Heat ranked fifth in opponent points per game and limited teams to shooting 34.5 percent from downtown. They spend the fewest goals per game and also have to have a reasonable number of rotations. It’s also important to note that Ball only scored 12 points the last time these two teams faced off on February 5. In the previous game, he only scored six points in October.
LaMelo Ball OVER 3.5 Spins (-125)
Doubling for Ball and Heat defensively, I think he’s going to hit a slam case tonight and earn a few spins. He was in tears recently dropping four or more spins in games after making it five of his last eight. That includes a game against Toronto, where he has seven.
Terry Rozier BELOW 3.5 Threes Made (-115)
Another Hornets perimeter shooter and another fades in favor of Heat defense. It gave Rozier a 1-1 performance from downtown on Tuesday night against the Timberwolves. I also love that Rozier has totaled below this level in three of his last four games and five of his last eight. I think it took him another night to get back on track.
