Today’s College Basketball Picks and Predictions (Returning to West Virginia, Boston College and More on Monday)

Want to make some picks about the college basketball game on Monday night?

BetSided’s Peter Dewey, Donnavan Smoot, Matt De Saro and Joe Summers broke down a bunch of games tonight and here are some of their top picks with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

This is a pretty easy position to support Dons, and I will sell high for Pacific’s three-game winning streak at home in this game.

San Francisco played really well in the WCC against anyone who didn’t have Gonzaga or Saint Mary’s, and we knew those two teams were the level of the game.

I failed on Bet & Breakfast why the Dons are a much better team, but its long and short is this:

San Francisco is in the top 55 for points-per-game and effective goal-scoring rate while ranking 81st and 30th in those categories for defense. Meanwhile, Pacific has 310th in the country and 316th in terms of opponent’s effective scoring rate.

The line is exactly where it is, and considering that the Pacific has covered the spread just five times this season, I hope the Dons go far with a margin of victory on Monday.

Pick: San Francisco -13.5 (-110) – Peter Dewey

Both of these teams are seriously down into the game tonight. The Horned Frogs have lost 3 games in a row and the Climbers have lost 10 of their last 11 games. However, today West Virginia will get a rare win. West Virginia doesn’t have the biggest offense, and it certainly has its problems, but TCU comes last in some categories.

Horned Frogs came last in the conference in terms of strike efficiency, turnover rate, free throw rate, steal rate, and non-steal turnover ratio. They have too many flaws for me to consider them a superior team – especially with 3 consecutive losses.

West Virginia will have to find a way to score inside, especially with the closest 2-point ratio. With both teams struggling as they are right now, I like West Virginia’s value in this position. The big frogs are losing 2-3 of their last 5 home games, leading me to hope they won’t be 100% ready to defend tonight.

Lean: West Virginia ML (+135) – Donnavan Smoot

While The Citadel is busy with consecutive losses, it can’t make up for those outright losses either. It’s only been 2-6 ATS in their last eight, and the last time they went through a home game without having to face Samford was on January 13 against NC Greensboro.

As a away team The Citadel is suffering from 5-6-1 ATS and things only went downhill from there. As the underdogs in the top lane, it’s 4-6-1 and only 5-10 ATS ahead of the conference opponents.

When looking through their stats, it’s easy to see why The Citadel is having a hard time. Bulldogs have one of the worst defenses in the nation. Thanh ranks 345th nationally in defense and allows opposing teams to score close to 80 points per game. Its offense is above average but that matters little when you can’t stop even the most trivial offence.

It is clear that Samford’s defense is nothing special. But its attack is good enough to surpass The Citadel tonight and that includes 6.5 favorites at home.

Lean: The Citadel -6.5 (-110) – Matt De Saro

Have you ever opened the refrigerator hoping for a delicious late-night snack only to realize that all you had was a week old tuna and a few suspiciously soggy breads? I mean, you’re hungry, but aren’t you feeling great with your choices?

That’s where I’m at with this game today. These teams are terrible. Every time I watch Florida State, I feel like I’ve forgotten how to shoot a basketball, and Boston College has only won three times in their last 16 games. But who must win, so who will be?

The Eagles are 8-6 ahead of home spread this year and have won the last 3/4 of their matches, so they have that against the Seminoles which is only 2-8 against the road spread (ATS). above.

State of Florida theoretically Candlestick better, with 104th best tuned offensive efficiency and 99th defensive efficiency, but Seminoles is prone to scoring long and can’t seem to muster it for a full 40 minutes. As a favorite, they are poor 4-13 ATS and are at 0-7.

I don’t want to trust Boston College, but in any case, I can trust Seminoles as a favorite. They’re disgustingly bad and as a rule, I don’t like putting my money on teams that make my face look like I just ate a box full of Warheads.

I’m going to take the Boston University exam today, but I would also score under 136. Undertakers have hit 3 consecutive home games of the Eagles and are 5-2 in their last 7 matches. Given the state of Florida’s serious crime, I want those trends to continue. Plug your nose and get the Eagles and those under in this.
