Steph Curry and company struggled late in the year, posting the third-worst offensive rating in the NBA in their last 10 games, but this could be a point where the Warriors get back on track.
Here are three player props that I keep an eye on for Tuesday night’s game:
Steph Curry OVER 25.5 points (-120)
It’s only a matter of time before Curry emerges from this terrible slump, and the Pistons’ number 23 defense is a great place to start.
Detroit allowed 135 points against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, and while Curry didn’t shoot particularly well late in time, he still surpassed this number in two of his last four games.
Anytime I can get Steph’s total score below his season average of 26.3, I feel like I have to take it. Let’s hope his 3-pointer finds the net early and often tonight.
Klay Thompson BELOW 15.5 points (-115)
It’s been great for the NBA and Warriors to have Klay Thompson back on the roster, but it will be a while before he looks like the Klay of yore.
Thompson has failed to surpass this number in three of his four games since returning, and he has only shot 35.7% from the field and from 3.
Guardians Warriors won’t play big minutes, and while the mass can be there, I think we’re asking a lot because he’s only averaging 12.7 shots per game after taking 18 shots on his debut of the season.
Saddiq Bey BELOW 5.5 Rebounds (-115)
Saddiq Bey may have averaged 6.1 rebounds per game this season, but I’ll lose him tonight as he faces a solid Golden State defense that ranks 5th in the NBA in bounce rate. again.
Bey has failed to beat this number in a row three and five of his last seven goals, and he hasn’t scored more than six in a game since January 3.
The Pistons are easy to blow away, and that can leave very little defence for Bey. I would gladly delete him here.
