Today’s best NBA head-to-head bets for Clippers vs. Suns (LA’s internal defense is worse than Phoenix)

The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the NBA and the best record at home. They will face the Clippers away tonight in what could be a very long night for LA in the desert. Let’s take a look at some of the odds in favor of this match, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Deandre Ayton OVER 0.5 Double Double (+120)

It’s a bit of a risky way to start here but I think Ayton is going to have a little bit of a night with the Clippers. As for his total score, I’m not worried here. He has scored double digits in all but one of his last seven games with the exception of a 24-minute game against the Hawks at home. During those seven games, Ayton has hit doubles twice and is a point away on the other two. One reason I like Ayton here is that the Clippers’ defense isn’t that good in paint and ranks 23rd in limited fighting teams on glass. With an average of 49.8 points per game in the paint and 54.7 total rebounds surrendered, there are plenty of metrics for Ayton to earn this fulcrum.

Chris Paul OVER 26.5 Points + Assist (-115)

This is a bit higher than Paul’s usual total in this category but I wouldn’t be discouraged by it. He regularly beats those totals, and the Clippers are a pretty good average defense at best. They’re a good match for Paul but these days veterans rarely spend the night and I don’t see anything happening tonight. He has overtaken the total in his last three games in a row. Roll the dice on number four.

Jae Crowder OVER 5.5 Rebounds (-104)

I believe like Ayton, Crowder will be one of the main beneficiaries when the Clippers lack support. They’re the 24th team in limiting rebounds and Crowder has been busy lately. Crowder has not gone below this total since February 1 and has two double-digit recoveries in his last four.
